Zakk Wylde Shows Tender Side, Wonders If Ozzy Has Ended Their Union

Zakk Wylde is finding that it's hard to be silent when the one you love doesn't love you back. Though he initially reported that he and mentor Ozzy Osbourne had patched things up, Wylde became noticeably upset talking with an Oregon radio station when interviewer Carl Sundberg suggested that Ozzy was auditioning new guitarists for his upcoming tour. Wylde, who it should be noted bears a more than passing resemblance to Bill Moseley's character in House of 1000 Corpses in both appearance and behavior, responded with these words:

I’ve gotta be honest with you. The boss (Ozzy) hasn’t even given me a phone call, so I mean… I’m just like… I don’t know what’s going on over there. Are we doing this thing or are we not doing it? When I keep getting asked these questions, I go, ‘Call the boss. When he tells you, then he can call me back.’ I mean, it’s just like… I love you, man. Whatever you want, that’s cool. But if we’re doing this, let’s do it, and let’s whoop some ass. But if you don’t wanna do it, then just give me a heads-up. Call me, man. Tell me what the hell’s going on. I don’t know what the hell’s going on over there.

Imagine how much Wylde must be hurting inside to be that vulnerable in public. Ozzy needs to get over his "everything sounds like Black Label Society" beef and realize you just don't throw that kind of love away. [The Daily Swarm]
