Funnyman of the moment Zach Galifianakis has endured a celebrity rite of passage and created an iTunes playlist, joining the exalted ranks of other comedic geniuses/playlist programmers like Woody Allen, Chris Rock and, uh, Larry The Cable Guy. The list itself isn't too full of surprises: indie-rock staples like Modest Mouse, My Morning Jacket and two tracks from Galifianakis' buddy Will Oldham, filled out with a few classic rock tunes (Dylan, Springsteen, etc.) and some token genre picks (Prince, Run DMC). The big news is that Kanye West gets snubbed, but the real treat here is Galifianakis' pithy commentary, like admitting he croons Rufus Wainright songs into a pencil-microphone in his loneliest moments. Check it out at the iTunes store.
