Anyone who's played Rock Band or Guitar Hero knows that both games are insanely fun while being inevitably lame; both games just allow you to better act out the air-guitar and lip-syncing that everyone does in their underwear when the door to their room is closed.

Considering that truth, there's some pretty serious cognitive dissonance that results from watching real bands indulge in that same roleplaying, like the above video of Rush playing "Tom Sawyer" in Rock Band. Having sung that one myself, I know the vocals are pretty hard; but unsurprisingly, Geddy Lee does it fine. See the rest of the gallery after the jump.
