Your Music To Hit Rock Band Soon

I know, I know, it’s fun to pretend to be Kurt Cobain when you play the extended “Heart Shaped Box” solo on Rock Band. But quit living in the past, my friend, because the future of music video games is here, and that future is…. your band?!

That might be a stretch, but at the very least your songs may be available for game play once Harmonix launches its Rock Band Network. There you'll be able to upload your tracks to the Rock Band Creators community, and at their discretion your music could become available in the Rock Band Store and the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Not only will you be able to shred on a guitar-shaped controller to your own songs, but you’ll also get paid per download. And, no promises, but if you’re really lucky, you may even be able to have an animated Cobain sing it for you! [Hypebot]
