Hella last minute, but NYC soul trolls should trot down to the Canal Room tonight to catch Omar. The UK soulster has been touring the US in support of Sing (If You Want It), his classy new album. The trip comes to a close here in the Zoo. Need incentive beside a solid voice, thoughful songs and a funky 'do? Angie Stone and Laurnea have sat in at earlier dates, so a special guest(s?) will likely be in the house (no less than Common and Stevie Wonder have contributed to this album... I'm just sayin').
