Yoko Ono asks us to remember John Lennon
Tomorrow will mark the twenty-seventh anniversary of John Lennon’s untimely passing. In observance, Yoko Ono is asking fans to display “War is Over!” artwork. Said Ono, “(p)lease print & display in your window, workplace, school, street, car, computer, and elsewhere over the holiday season”. The artwork is available for download at ImaginePeace.com. Lennon’s widow is also requesting that “on December 8th, 11.15pm (your local time) please remember John by taking a moment of quiet reflection." [NME]

I don't understand. Is she declaring the war over or is she celebrating the war being over or is she hoping that if enough people say the war is over it might come true?
