Yes singer mad at band members for replacing him

Aw snap, Aw snap. 70s Proggy classic rock drama is the best kind. It looks like Yes frontman Jon Anderson is mad at fellow band members for giving him a "Long-Distance Runaround" in choosing Yes tribute band singer Benoit David for their forthcoming tour. Anderson has been recovering from actue respiratory failure, and has said on his blog that he feels, "disappointed and very disrespected," by his bandmates' choice.

"And [I am] disappointed that they were not willing to wait till 2009 when I'm fully recovered," Anderson added.  Jeez Yes, that's no way to treat your homies. [NME]

While I think it is unfortunate that Steve and Chris have not reached out to Jon since his illness, I believe Jon is blowing this out of proportion and showed bad judgement in airing Yes’ dirty laundry.

When Jon toured solo, then with Rick, then with the School of Rock, he played mostly Yes music. Chris and Alan particularly have patiently waited four long years for Jon and I don’t blame them for wanting to get out and play.

The recent passing of Richard Wright hits home, and as much as I’d rather see Jon with Yes, the wait has to end now, *In the Present*!!!
