Yellow Ostrich Debut “Any Wonder”

Yellow Ostrich have shared a new track titled “Any Wonder” from their forthcoming album Cosmos, due out on February 25 via Barsuk. Their alluring folk-laden indie-pop is as good as it has ever been on the new track.

The title of the album refers to lead songwriter Alex Schaff’s immersion in the works of Carl Sagan and Frank Drake as he lived in the band’s practice space while writing the songs that would become this album. Schaff even, according to a press release, “synthetically altered [the light in the space] to reflect the arrival and passing of daylight each morning and night.”

The band will be heading out on tour with Pattern is Movement at the end of the month. Check out the new track and tour dates below.
