While Yelawolf is still supporting his Shady Records LP Radioactive, we’ve known for a minute that the Alabama rapper is also working on that album’s follow-up Love Story. However, Yela’s got even more projects in the works, too.
Up next for Yelawolf, before Love Story drops, is the Psycho White EP, which is set to include five brand-new songs and to be a collaboration with drummer, producer, Blink-182 member, and fellow tattoo aficionado Travis Barker. As per a Yela quote in recent Billboard article: “Every time we would get in the lab we’d knock something out. We just collaborated and… had a meeting of the minds. There’s a lot of cool stuff we came up with.”
The new music doesn’t end there, though. In the same article, Yela also spoke on the much-anticipated Country Cousins with fellow Third Coaster Big K.R.I.T.: “[Country Cousins] been like a two-year thing, man; I’m busy, he’s busy, and it doesn’t get done. We know that when we get together, it can’t be half-assed. That’s my homey for life, so it could go down at any moment. There’s no definite date, no definite time. I’m such a huge fan of his. I really want to do music with him, so I know it’ll happen.”
