Things have been relatively quiet on the Yeah Yeah Yeah front following the release (and subsequent promotional push) of March 2009's very good It's Blitz. But that could change sometime soon according to frontwoman Karen O. She told U.K. newspaper The Sun that she and the rest of the band have been working on new material after taking some time off to focus on their respective side gigs. That's about all she said about the new songs, though she did reveal that her psycho opera, Stop the Virgens, will likely be brought to London for some shows. Hmm, I know I can't be alone in wishing that she and the rest of the YYYs would just focus on LP4. [NME]
