Xiu Xiu to release 'Remixed and Covered' in April

Damaged pop trio Xiu Xiu has announced plans to release a two-disc cover and remix album. The aptly titled Remixed and Covered will arrive April 10 via 5RC. Sadly, this will be the final album released by the label, which, as we reported months back, is going into a prolonged--if not permanent--hibernation.
The album will feature covers from a variety of artists, including Sunset Rubdown, Marissa Nadler and Larsen. It will even include the Devendra Banhart cover of "Support Our Troops," previously only available on a split seven-inch. Remixers for the project include Grouper, To Live and Shave in L.A., Gold Chains and Xiu Xiu. Here's the track list:
