Pop Matters published a really interesting interview yesterday with Xiu Xiu frontman Jamie Stewart. The majority of the piece discusses Stewart's creative process, and it includes a number of interesting revelations. None moreso than the fact that the anguish found in Xiu Xiu's music is the product of Stewart's happier periods.
