Track Review: Xiu Xiu Vs. Grouper - "In Dreams" [Creepshow]

You'd be forgiven for not believing that Xiu Xiu had any part in Creepshow. This collaboration with Liz Harris (Grouper) is part of Slender Means Society's Pregnancy Series, which challenges artists to create music that is different from their usual output. Mission accomplished here, as instead of Jamie Stewart ripping his heart out and handing it to you as per usual, we get minimal ambient fare. It works surprisingly well though, and Harris' voice flitting around the edges of the song is a nice touch.
