In an Access Hollywoodinterview, Wyclef Jean was surprisingly positive about a possible Fugees reunion. After calling the defunct group “the hip-hop Beatles” and claiming future concerts could draw any number of millions from LiveNation, Jean suggested that the Fugees had too much credibility to do anything for money, and that if anyone make him work out his differences with Lauryn Hill and Praswell for good, it would be Dave Chappelle (who got the group to perform for his 2004 film Block Party).
This is a pretty different outlook from band-mate Pras’ 2007 thoughts on a reunion, when he told AllHipHop.com,“Before I work with Lauryn Hill again, you will have a better chance of seeing Osama Bin Laden and [George W.] Bush in Starbucks having a latte, discussing foreign policies."
Think Chappelle can work his magic once more and get the Refugee Camp back in action?
