Speculation has been rife of late that a new Wu-Tang Clan album is in the works, thanks in part to hints from RZA and Ghostface Killah, but now the legendary hip-hop crew has provided the confirmation we were all looking for. "New WU TANG CLAN Album coming soon," reads their Facebook page.
"There’s one last job Wu-Tang Clan must do. The 20th anniversary [of 'Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)'] is next year. And we need to, one time, completely, efficiently, properly, professionally represent our brand. One more time," RZA told The New York Times in a recent interview.
Before this new record—which will be the first proper Wu album since 2007's 8 Diagrams—arrives, however, fans can expect a new solo from both Ghostface, Twelve Reasons to Die, slated for a release later this month, and Masta Killa, Selling My Soul, due out in December.
