Woodstock Musical in the Works

Woodstock is returning to New York... but this time it's set to hit Broadway. Michael Lang, one of the producers of the historic 1969 festival, has announced plans to stage a musical based on his recent memoir, The Road to Woodstock. The story will revolve around attendees of the three-day concert and explore how the experience changed their lives. The as-yet-untitled project is set to make its Great White Way debut during the 2010-11 theater season. [The New York Times]
