Wiz Khalifa Explains Drug Usage
Now that he's been arrested for his affinity for smoking weed, MTV is using this opportunity to re-publicize an interview it had with the rapper earlier this year where he describes his drug usage. Basically, he smokes weed because it gets you stoned, which is, I think, the only reason anyone smokes weed. But then he goes on to say that he's showing people you can do anything while high, which makes less sense:
"I don't say, 'Yo, get up and do that.' I said that's what I do, and I tell you what I do while I'm doing it. I'm not trying to push drugs on anybody," said Wiz, who calls his house "The Bakery." "I thought weed was bad for a minute," he added. "When I was younger, I thought it was bad, but I got to a point where it worked for me. It don't work for everybody else. People gotta stay free, people need jobs, people got parents that probably wouldn't be with it, so don't ruin your life trying to be like me. That's my advice."

it makes fine sense. maybe its not the most conventional idea on the planet but so what. many people, including myself, do they daily routine and do what they want to do whether it be have a beer or smoke a joint. oh well, we got to face facts. almost half the country isnt against the legalization of weed now in 2010, almost 2011. by 2012 the number could jump to well over half. we all have something we like to do. for some its go to the gym religiously, and for other we can smoke our herb and be in peace. what on earth is wrong with that? i mean really, be a little more open minded people. its not the 1930s anymore, none of us stoner heads run around flailing guns at people and shoot them because we're high. that's just rediculous.

They need to quite that (the cops with the harrassing)! They don't have anything better to do down there in NC? They need to go arrest whoever authorized that advertisement about pants from American Apparel! Thats not hot!!
