With The Beatles On iTunes, AC/DC And Garth Brooks Head Holdouts

Steve Jobs dropped the Fab Four into his musical empire today, and the list of iTunes holdouts lost its biggest stars. Until today, you could say that any group, including musicians who don't sell on iTunes, who counted The Beatles among their number was in pretty good company. With John, George, Ringo and the other guy gone, however, the list compiled by Rolling Stone is like reading the stickers on the back of a pick-up: AC/DC, Garth Brooks, Kid Rock, Bob Seger, and Def Leppard. After you're done lamenting the fact that you have to buy the whole Like a Rock album to get Seger's "American Storm," head over here for the stars reasons (mostly financial) for staying off iTunes. Best justification hands down is Kid Rock saying without irony that some music isn't worth a dime. [Rolling Stone
