iTunes: The releases of tomorrow, today
On the off-chance that some of the people reading this haven't already downloaded the album via other means, it seems as though iTunes has made a grade-A gaffe, making the Shins' new album Wincing the Night Away available about two weeks early. The main page has a link that sends you to a preorder page, but simply searching for "The Shins" in the browse section brings up a page where you can download all the tracks individually right now. This probably won't go unnoticed for long, so you might want to hurry up on this one if you're interested.
