Win Butler Mulling Retirement

You read that headline right: According to an interview in this month's issue of Spin, Win Butler is considering calling it quits.

I can’t see myself doing this 10 years from now. We’ve been a band now as long as the Beatles, and pop music is a young man’s game.

Oh, Win, always so humble with your band comparisons. But yeah, he's sorta gotta point: It's sad to see bands like... every band from the 1960s that is still touring. And it's an interesting question re: indie rock, because it'd be impossible to imagine Wavves hitting the state fair cycle in 15 years. But for now, Arcade Fire are still in business. [Spin]
