Lo-fi musician Willis Earl Beal was arrested in Utrecht, Holland over the weekend. The Chicagoan was performing at Le Guess Who? Festival when he got into a physical altercation. Allegedly, Beal kicked a homeless man in the face midway through his performance.
Beal then ended the show early because of the incident and told the audience, “Because of a few bad apples, we all miss out on one more glorious, fantastic, lovely performance. I love you, and I even love the guy whose face I kicked in. I love him too. He’s a good guy. He’s just drunk. A little.” Check out a clip of Beal ending his Utrecht performance below. [P4K]
