So as much as some will hate the news of Queen releasing a post-Freddie Mercury album, the endeavor is somewhat inevitable. Despite particularly nasty reviews, the Queen jukebox musical We Will Rock You has been a smash success on London's West End for the past 6 years, and the former bandmembers (minus bassist John Deacon) have been performing with Bad Company frontman Paul Rodgers in place of the dearly departed Mercury. With contemporaries of Queen from 70s such as The Stooges and New York Dolls recording new albums for the first time in decades, this seems only natural.
So, lo and behold, it is announced that the new Queen (labeled Queen + Paul Rodgers) will be coming out with a new album in October 28. The Cosmos Rocks, as it will be known, features the following painful track names (not ordered):
"C-Lebrity,"..."Say It's Not True,"..."Cosmos Rockin'," "Time To Shine," "Still Burnin'," "Small," "Warboys," "We Believe," "Call Me," "Voodoo," "Some Things That Glitter," "Through the Night" and "Surf's Up ... School's Out!"
A YouTuber has also posted a "video" of "Time to Shine," a new Queen song that was taken from the radio in the U.K.:
That sounds relatively benign, but at this point it's hard to distinguish Queen from their imitators. Frankly, we liked post-Queen Brian May better when he was hangin' around with Lemmy Kilmister.

It will not suck at all. It will be great like all the other Queen albums.
