Mashup genius Greg Gillis, who operates under the moniker "Girl Talk,"  is well known for his unhinged beats and brilliant sampling. But one question remains: why hasn't this guy ever been sued? Gillis certainly runs the risk, having technically released two albums of straight sampling from other people's work (without asking for permission, of course). According to lawyers in the music industry, the answer is unanimously clear: Gillis would come out on top in any courtroom. And why is this a bad thing?
