WFMU Will Broadcast Live Sets From Primavera

The excellent Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona got underway yesterday (May 26) with a headlining set from the Flaming Lips. Anyone seething with jealousy at the stellar lineup may be happy to know that WFMU is going to broadcast many of the best sets from the festival, beginning with a show by New York legends Suicide at 3pm today.

WFMU is deeply connected to the festival—they have a tent there and are promising to archive some of these recordings, although we don’t know which ones yet. Among the highlights of their broadcasts will be sets from Grinderman, Deerhunter, Kurt Vile, Animal Collective and Pere Ubu. Check out the full schedule below.
