Any of you who've read All Music Guide and Pitchfork regularly over the years
should recognize the name Johnny Loftus: He spent three years as a staff
writer at the former and used to contribute to the latter. Johnny is also a
former music editor at Metro Times Detroit and, most recently, the senior
writer for Detour.
Andy Sweat used to write music reviews for the Daily Nexus, the paper at UC
Santa Barbara, from which he recently graduated. He's also an aspiring TV
writer -- he's written spec scripts for The Office, Curb Your Enthusiasm and
Family Guy -- and he's work a lot behind the camera as a director
and producer and editor.
Matthew Richardson, a creative writing student at the University of
Illinois, spent the summer interning at the great Drag City Records, helping
the label with sales and promotions. In addition to his own stories, he also
writes reviews for Pensatos.com.
Olga Bas is a NYC-based photographer whose work has been published in Sidestage Zine, An A-Z of Franz Ferdinand by Helen Chase, Brooklyn Vegan, Gothamist and the Village Voice blog.
Tim Bugbee has been interested in music since his first Blue Oyster Cult LP purchase in the mid-'70s, and has had photos published in the Big Takeover, Signal to Noise, Skyscraper, the Boston Phoenix and the Boston Globe.
Ken Bachor has photographed groups from the Raconteurs to Bloc Party for music outlets including Paste, the Bob Moog Foundation and the Stone Pony.
