Weezer Team With YouTubers For Free Advertising

     

    For the Red Album, Weezer had a bunch of YouTube stars appear in their video for “Pork & Beans” and that video got some serious YouTube spins. The band learned a lot from that YouTube cross promotion: To advertise Hurley, the group has partnered with YouTube to appear in videos from YouTube stars. The YouTube people, such as the group behind Auto-Tune the News, get to keep all the revenue from the videos, while Weezer gets to increase its visibility on the Internet.
