"No, no, really, I'm fine, I promise...it's just...[resumes crying/guttural moaning]...it's just I thought things would be different this time, you know? Things used to be so good between us that I thought...I thought maybe things could still work out. I know, I'm an idiot--there was no coming back from that cover, I should have ended things right then and there. It's really bordering on abuse, at this point--first that awful song, and now...this? Is this supposed to be funny? Clever? Transgressive? Charmingly random? [Assuming an assured, deceptively confident tone]: Well, that's it. No, really, I don't care anymore, I'm done with this shit. Although I'm still definitely buying that Pinkerton reissue."
Oh blah. Such a freaking drama queen. A lot of people liked Raditude, including me. If you don't enjoy Weezer anymore, fine... but don't act like the rest of us are crazy for enjoying their music.
Me
damn, you're crazy.
The first two albums are what obnoxious teenagers liked then. The last two albums are what obnoxious teenagers like now. :\ Sorry you were so obnoxious as a kid.

I'm just glad someone else is getting hateraded on.
Yeesh, guy.
That 'Yeesh, guy' was referring to the two hate-posts that have since been deleted.
Yeah, dude was jocking you. At least your biggest hater doesn't live with you. I mean, theSchoenrock sleeps 25 feet from me, and I hate his guts.
I hate you too man, I hate you too.
Ahh the Prefix mythology becomes clearer. Also, turns out I'm pretty well-acquainted with my hater too--it was my friend getting revenge on me for "Liking" everything he's done on Facebook for the last two years (it took, like, two hours, but I had a lot of fun). We've since come to a truce.
Yeah, let me fill you in: theSchoenrock is my a-hole roommate. He followed me from St. Cloud, MN to Madison, WI and he trolls me on the Prefix. He repeatedly tries to steal my e-friendship away from the Prefix Forum dudes (like Al, Dipseth, banger). He also is the worst human on Earth. Also his clothes suck.
I'd ask for more details, but I'm liking how the 'Fix details are slowly revealing themselves.
You're not crazy for liking Raditude- you just have terrible taste. This guy is right...it's utterly embarrassing the way Weezer shat on their legacy and even more embarrassing that they have "it's all good" fans who expect nothing but poseur irony from them. Pinkerton's not great because it has a bunch of confessional lyrics. It's great because the songwriting is stellar. The modulations in the solo for Falling For You alone are more interesting than anything they've done in the last 10 years.
I don't personally care to hear Rivers try to sound 20 again, I just want to hear him write music at the level he's capable of and for a long time now, he hasn't.
