Weezer is offering their fans a chance to get a jump on their summer, pushing up the release date of their Red Album three weeks to June 3. After the strong response to the band’s single “Pork and Beans,” which currently sits at number on the Billboard Modern Rock charts, Weezer decided to ride the wave and move up the album’s release.  The Red Album is the band’s sixth studio release from Geffen Records, and the third in its series of self-titled ‘color’ albums. There has been no formal announcement of a tour in support of the record, which, if the early single is any indication, will be a heaping helping of quirky observations and riffage.
