Weezer denies break-up
Rivers Cuomo is a crazy bastard. There, I said it. Remember a little over a month ago, when we told youabout his conversation with MTV? Remember how he said, Really, for the moment, we are done. And I'm not certain we'll ever make a record again, unless it becomes really obvious to me that we need to do one?
Well, apparently we all took that quote way out of context. Below is a message, reprinted in full, entitled they dont know who we be that the band posted on their official website:

Now please, take those weezer split? headlines and place them firmly into the Don't believe the hype bin. And have yourself a fine afternoon now.
This, of course, begs the question of whether a quote coming straight from the horses mouth could be considered hype, but arguing semantics with Cuomo isnt terribly high on our priority list, so well pass.
