Weezer Announce Tour, “Memories Shows”

    Veteran indie rockers/half-Japanese girl enthusiasts Weezer have announced plans for a summer-fall tour. Rivers and the boys will kick things off in Buffalo, New York on July 13 and play shows in Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Maryland, California, Texas and Florida through November.

    On November 10 and 11, Weezer will play “Memories Shows” in Orlando, Florida. That means that instead of tracks like “Beverly Hills” and “Pork and Beans,” they’ll be playing ‘90s Weezer tracks. On the first night they’ll be performing songs from their 1994 self-titled album (a.k.a. The Blue Album) and on the second they’ll be doing 1996’s Pinkerton.
