Webbie gets a-r-r-e-s-t-e-d do you know what that means?

One Webster Gradney Jr., better known as "Independent" rapper Webbie was arrested this past Sunday in Hattiesburg, MS after evading police who were trying to stop him for a traffic violation. Eventually the rapper hit a 1999 Mercury Cougar, but kept going until, in a Walmart parking lot, he got out of his 2009 Dodge Challenger and into a 1993 Ford Crown Victoria.

After police found him in the second car he was taken to Forest County Regional Jail and charged with one count of felony eluding, one count of driving under the influence, and a misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana.

No word yet on how the women's lib movement is taking this setback. [HiphopDX]
