We Are Scientists to get brains thrusting on new album

The proud Pomona College alumnae (go Sagehens!) in We Are Scientists are not, in fact, scientists. They are, rather, fun-loving dance-rockers. The band is ready to get the party started again with its sophomore album, Brain Thrust Mastery, which is slated for a May 13 release via Astralwerks. It will be the follow-up to 2005's With Love and Squalor. The Brain-y single "After Hours" is already burning up the charts in the U.K. The group will start touring behind the album there and elsewhere in Europe before returning to the U.S. later this year.
