Andy Baio at WAXY.org is taking his love of Girl Talk’s Feed the Animals to a meta-level: he has a full dissection of the album’s samples at his website, where he counts the samples (there are 264, not the over 300 as has been previously reported), finds the median year of the samples (around 2005), and figures out how many samples there are each song (19.8 on average).

UPDATE: According to Girl Talk's publicist, and to Greg Gillis himself, there are actually 322 samples on the album. It seems that WAXY's numbers are incorrect.
