On November 27th, Waxploitation will launch its inaugural Causes album series with Causes 1 an album of rare and exclusive tracks donated by the likes of Animal Collective, The Black Keys, Bloc Party, Bright Eyes, Cornelius, The Cure, David Sylvian, Death Cab for Cutie, (International) Noise Conspiracy, The Shins, Spoon, Teargas & Plateglass, Thievery Corporation and Travis. All of the proceeds (that isn't a typo) will go to Doctors Without Borders, Oxfam America, and Human Rights Watch. The album will be available on I-tunes for only ninety days beginning on November 27 and a limited edition CD can be ordered here. The limited availability of the album is to underscore the charities' need for immediate donations. So put off buying that new Kid Rock album for a month and do a little good with your music dollar.
