Watch The xx’s Full KEXP Performance

The group performs "Basic Space" and three songs from their new album "I See You"

On April 24th, The xx stopped by Seattle’s iconic KEXP 90.3 to deliver a private twenty-four-minute set. Earlier today, the station uploaded the performance to their YouTube channel for your listening pleasure. If you’re looking for a quick escape, per usual, Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim, and Jamie Smith deliver.

The band’s performance includes “Say Something Loving,” “I Dare You,” and their fantastic single “On Hold,” all of which were featured on their new album I See You which dropped earlier this year to decent reviews. The band also performed “Basic Space” from their revered 2009 debut, xx.

Watch a video of the full performance below.

While in Seattle, The xx was touring with Sampha, who also stopped by for a live set on KEXP. The British trio has a string of festival performances that will carry them through the summer. At the end of June, they’ll be appearing at the sold-out Glastonbury Festival before making their way to the Roskilde Festival in Denmark. In July you can find them as NOS Alive in Lisbon, Portugal or Firenze Summer Festival in Florence, Italy. If you’re an American fan, they’ve got you covered too as they’ll be in Chicago on August 5th for Lollapalooza.

If festivals aren’t really your thing, they also have you in mind. In the fall, they just announced that they’ll be touring alongside Perfume Genius.
