The “Bling47 Breaks Dilla Edition” series looks back at the sample sources used on some of Jay Dee’s classic joints. In the latest webisode things get a whole lot nastier as Bling47 founder Waajeed examines the music that inspired “No.” Turning the clock back to 1999, Jeedo recounts how Q-Tip had brought him and Dilla to the famed East Village record store The Sound Library. Narrating some rare archival footage of the late producer, Jeedo explains how Dilla first got his hands on Fred Miller’s synth-porn record Sounds Of Love... A to Zzzz.
Watch the video below and find out where all Dilla’s moans and groans really came from. [EgoTrip]
