Watch Ty Segall Cover Three David Bowie Songs Live

    Currently touring in support of his excellent LP Manipulator, California neo-glam rocker (among other things) Ty Segall played a show in Chicago last night. Since the Windy City’s Museum of Contemporary Art is exhibiting a David Bowie retrospective, and its mayor, Rahm Emmanuel, officially declared Tuesday (which is when the gallery show opened) “David Bowie Day,” Segall decided to pay homage to the British icon as well. The musician performed a medley of Bowie’s glam-era standards “Ziggy Stardust,” “Suffragette City,” and “Queen Bitch,” and was filmed by a quick-to-react fan. Watch the video below (via Stereogum):
