It’s been four years since the last Bond film Quantum of Solace, and Sony is hitting the airwaves hard with promotional material for the latest installment Skyfall. Today the studio released two new TV spots that have been floating around the internet for a couple of days. From the looks of it, Bond is back with his usual swagger: pointing guns at things, leaping onto trains, standing on top of important buildings and having hushed conversations with beautiful women. Nice.
Skyfall is the third Bond film to feature Daniel Craig as 007. The plot focuses on Bond’s reappearance after a failed mission in Istanbul and his relationship with M (Judi Dench) as conflicting details of her past emerge. This all takes place as he attempts to track down the villain Raoul Silva, played by Javier Bardem.
The films is directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Revolutionary Road) and also stars Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and Ben Whishaw. It opens in US theaters on Nov. 9.
