Watch: TV One's Big Daddy Kane Documentary

I have never heard of TV One before, though that's probably based on the fact I've never stayed anywhere near Maryland. But apparently the network has put together a documentary series called Unsung that sheds light on "some of the most influential, talented and yet, somehow forgotten R&B, soul and gospel artists of the last 30 years." This includes acts such as the Ohio Players, the Spinners, and in the case of this post, Big Daddy Kane. If you woke up this morning and wanted to learn more about one of hip-hop's most influential voices, you're probably about to be glued to your monitor for the next 40 minutes. Hell, even if you didn't, this is essential for fans of the genre. So grab a coffee, reschedule that morning meeting, and get watchin'.
