A quick background: the "bernie dance," a style of dancing inspired by the infamous Weekend at Bernie's films, has taken the Oakland A's by storm. It started with outfielder Coco Crisp playing it in the locker room and escalated when third basemen Brandon Inge made it his walk-up song with numerous fans doing the dance each game in the stands.
Now the craze may have peaked with a new "music" video featuring Coco Crisp and many of the A's players doing the dance with ATM and IMD, a duo responsible for a track that references various moments from Weekend at Bernie's II.
Currently, the A's are in the middle of a pennant race, holding onto a playoff spot by a one-game lead. I guess the pressure of the playoffs push hasn't put a damper on their sense of humor.
