Watch The Avett Brothers Cover Neutral Milk Hotel's "In The Aeroplane Over The Sea"

While performing at the Voodoo Experience music festival in New Orleans last weekend, folk rockers The Avett Brothers gave their fans a little treat by playing a cover of Neutral Milk Hotel's "In The Aeroplane Over The Sea." 

Though no rendition could ever replace the original (it's one of the best songs ever, you know), vocalist Seth Avett did a pretty good job replicating Jeff Mangum's nasally timbre. Our biggest complaint? There was no chilling theremin floating in the background, although it was replaced by a violin, and those are pretty cool too.
