Watch Songs From Grandaddy’s First Reunion Shows

This weekend, indie-rock pioneers Grandaddy will reunite and play San Francisco’s Outside Lands festival. But this week, the band sprung some surprise reunion gigs elsewhere in California to presumably kick off the six-year-old rust.

The band played Wednesday night at the Henry Miller Library in Big Sur. You can watch performances of “Jed’s Other Poem (Beautiful Ground)” and “So You’ll Aim Towards The Sky” (both from 2000’s The Sophtware Slump) as well as the obscure “Fare Thee Not Well Mutineer” below.

The day before, Grandaddy took the moniker Arm of Roger and sprung a surprise show at Merced’s the Partisan. Below, we’ve got video of “‘Yeah’ Is What We Had” from 2003’s Sumday, as well as a setlist from that show. [CoS]
