Watch Sampha’s Full KEXP Performance

The singer shares "Plastic 100°C," "Incomplete Kisses," and "(No One Knows Me) Like the Piano"

On April 24th, Sampha dropped by Seattle’s famous KEXP 90.3 to deliver an intimate twenty-minute set. Today, the station uploaded the performance for your aural pleasure. If you’re in need of something quick and soothing for the soul, look no further than Sampha’s vocals paired with his keys. You won’t regret it. Do not underestimate Sampha’s healing powers.

His performance includes “Plastic 100°C,” “Incomplete Kisses,” and his single “(No One Knows Me) Like the Piano,” all from his debut album, Process, which came out earlier this year and is still one of the best-reviewed releases of 2017.

    Watch the video below.

While in Seattle, Sampha was touring with The xx, friends of the British singer, as stated in the video above. Sampha still has a slew of performances ahead of him in support of Process, one of the best-reviewed albums of 2017 so far. Looking ahead for the 28-year-old R&B singer, and he’s going to have a very busy summer playing a ton of major festivals.

This Saturday, Sampha will be at Nos Primavera Sound in Porto, Portugal. The very next day he’ll be in Manchester for the Parklife Festival. After that, the list doesn’t slow down at all: Glastonbury Festival, Manchester International Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, Melt! Festival, Fuji Rock…it literally doesn’t end. I’m tired for him.

And if you’re looking at the long list of festival appearances and realizing they’re overseas, no worries. Sampha will be touching down in the States August 6th for Lollapalooza then wrapping up his busy festival tour with performances at Afropunk in New York and Made in America in Philadelphia.

If Sampha is new for you (I’m very sorry about that), he’s worked with SBTRKT, Kanye West, Drake, Jessie Ware and Solange. When you’re only a couple of EPs and an album deep, it’s never too late to catch up. Below are two of his finest features.
