Watch Robert Plant Do Led Zeppelin’s “Gallows Pole”

There’s little to no chance that Led Zeppelin will reunite anytime soon, but that doesn’t stop frontman Robert Plant from letting his Led out whenever he feels like it. As a solo artist, he often sprinkles in Zeppelin songs in the live setting along with his own originals for career-spanning set lists. Now, you can watch one of these solo shows for yourself with a new live DVD.

Plant isn’t totally solo–he revived his longtime side project Band of Joy in 2010 with help from singer Patty Griffin and guitarist Buddy Miller, and since then the group has been touring around the world. They stopped by Nashville’s War Memorial Auditorium in February 2011 for a performance filmed for the public television show Live From The Artists Den.

On July 10, that show is being released on DVD as Robert Plant & The Band Of Joy: Live From The Artists Den. Below, you can watch the group tackle the old folk song “Gallows Pole” (which was made famous by Led Zeppelin on their 1970 album Led Zeppelin III), and you can check out a full track list of the DVD.
