New Jersey's Real Estate recently swung by the KEXP studio to play a few songs from their latest (and sophomore) release, Days. The band's pretty, non-threatening melodies shined on "Easy" and "Municipality," two of the four tracks the quintet played. In addition to performing in-studio, the group talked with Cheryl Waters about "whether or not their band name, or at least their next album, should in fact be called 'Rainbow Season.'" Would that properly disguise the mild sense of sadness in Real Estate's music? Probably not, but what's more interesting, realty or rainbows? Below, see the band play "It's Real." Hit up here for the rest of the performances and, if you're not a visual person, listen to it here. [KEXP]
