PSY's merry-go-round of "horsey dancing" has stopped. After having taken it to the MTV VMAs, TMZ, Ryan Seacrest and the "Ellen DeGenres Show" - the Korean pop star, (note not just "K-pop" star) performed "Gangnam Style" live this morning for the Today Show and the Toyota Concert Series.
Before taking the stage, PSY told Savannah Guthrie:
“I didn’t expect that at all. I just unloaded this video only for the Korean viewers in YouTube and suddenly, within 60 days, I’m here”
As the he energetic 34 year old took the stage, he was surrounded by a flock of K-pop fans and those who came along for the wild ride. With command, he demonstrated why he out of the stables upon stables of K-pop groups and artists has broken the language barrier in the United States. He displayed his ten plus years of experience without breaking a sweat. He sang, he rapped, he danced. He owned the stage.
If his live show wasn't enough, watch Guthrie, Al Roker, Natalie Morales, and "Meet the Press" anchor David Gregory join in on the horsing around as well.
