Last night international K-pop "Gangnam Style" star received a "New Media" award at the American Music Awards. And in addition to receiving the award, he possibly had the performance all night. Including all of this years viral setting, trend setting artists such as Carly Rae Jepsen (also known for her viral hit "Call Me Maybe"), Usher, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown Taylor Swift and Christina Aguilera, none of the popstars could top PSY's "Gangnam Style."
Ending the night, the artist was introduced by Will.i.am with him reminding everyone that PSY's hit on YouTube has now over 700 million views within the last few months (second to Justin Bieber's "Baby"). The star opened up doing a fierce portion of his horsey-dance. And performed much gusto. But what made the performance even more tintalizing was when legendary nineties hip-hop pop artist MC Hammer joined in. "Gangnam Style" was then mashed up with "2 Legit 2 Quit." Together the duo busted out some old school moves displaying PSY's legit dancing skills. In the end they also did the horsey-dance together.
