Egotripland has just unearthed a Pier One Imports training video (from the esteemed production team over at RAProductions) that uses the universal language of hip hop to train the Pier One sales team to sell chairs and stuff. The video feels a lot like when an out-of-touch grade school teacher offers the option to "write and perform a rap" instead of an actual assignment.
I'm sure you won't miss it, but the track also includes the clunkiest chorus in rap history: "Let's connect with the customer, let's make a sale. Let's engage the customer, let's make a sale." I wonder if it was as effective as Wendy's landmark "Grill Skillz" training video. [DS]
