Watch: Parts & Labor Cover Kanye's "Runaway" For AV Club
Covers of this breed are polarizing, especially because Kanye West himself is such a polarizing, love-him-or-hate-him figure. I can just see a shitload of his fans storming comment pages all over the web to cry foul of Parts & Labor's feedback-driven take of "Runaway" for AV Club. Then you will have those who will fawn over what the Brooklyn band has done with the "toast for the douche bags." Personally, I think it's great, though I'm slightly biased because of my inherent love for noisy shit like this. Admittedly, it does take a bit to get going, but so does the original track as it appears on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
