Watch Nicki Minaj Perform, Act On 'SNL'
As has been the case with previous musical guests on Saturday Night Live, Nicki Minaj's time on the show wasn't just spent onstage. She was also involved with a pair of skits, both of which have their chuckle-inducing moments, though not for long.
The better of the two is probably her stint with the Lonely Island, who can still draw some laughs just because of how goddamn outrageous they are. She also took part in a kind of painful throwback to Blaxpoitation films that had trouble finding its footing.
Beyond that, though, she took to the stage to perform her two latest singles, "Right Thru Me" and "Moment 4 Life." There's nothing terribly new here if you have already seen her tackle these tracks in a live setting. Both performances are pretty much in line with her recent appearances on late night TV, except for that huge white dress and the Marge Simpson hair.
